This version of Canon's Leica imitation began production in 1955. It uses Leica-compatible screw-mount lenses, (the M39 mount). This camera comes with a Canon branded 50mm f1.8  The rangefinder appears to be accurate.  The spring loaded take up spool is present with this camera. It has some use marks on it but really is in good shape for its age. This is a great vintage collectible camera. NOTE: Due to it's age, This camera will require a CLA for optimal operation

IncludedCamera Body, Lens, Canon metal lens cap,  camera case(needs some stitching)

Warranty: This is an AS-IS consignment item.  There is no warranty as to operation.

Operating Condition:  Lens has tiny tiny bubbles in glass - not unusual for these lenses at this time, and hazing on the glass as well. There is no separation or scratches on the lens. The slow speeds (1/4 second and below) are erratic and unreliable. Other speeds appear to be accurate. Film transport currently damages film. Needs a CLA.

Cosmetic Condition:  Excellent plus.
